A Training That Transforms How We Support Parents

This is not just a training. It is an experience that shifts how we see children, families, and ourselves as educators and leaders.

The Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way workshop, developed by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen, is an evidence-based parent education program designed to help you guide parents with confidence, clarity, and compassion.

You will learn how to support parents in raising children who feel capable, connected, and responsible without relying on punishment or permissiveness.

Who This Training Is For

This space is intentionally designed for individuals who are already supporting others and want to deepen their impact.

• Educators and school leaders who work closely with families

• Counselors, therapists, and social workers

• Parent coaches and facilitators

• Montessori and Positive Discipline practitioners

• Family support professionals and community leaders

If you are having real conversations with parents who feel overwhelmed or unsure what to do next, this training will give you practical tools that truly help.

Why Attend?

Many of us are doing our best to support children and families, yet we were never shown how to guide behavior in ways that build long-term skills.

This training helps you:

• Move from reacting to guiding

• Support parents without judgment or shame

• Teach tools that build responsibility, connection, and resilience

• Create spaces where parents feel encouraged and capable

You will leave with language, structure, and confidence to lead parenting groups and meaningful conversations.
