Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way (TP), created by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen, is a hands-on certification program designed to help educators, counselors, and parent coaches lead experiential parenting groups. Grounded in Adlerian psychology and Positive Discipline principles, this training inspires both parents and professionals to foster respectful, resilient, and cooperative homes and classrooms.
Facilitated by Yogi Patel, Certified Positive Discipline Trainer and international educator, this two-day certification is deeply experiential, offering tools you can use immediately with parents and families.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days before the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are unavailable after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not attend the workshop. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
NBCC: Positive Discipline Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. ACEP No. 6723. Programs that do qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Positive Discipline Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
