Caregiving can be a long and demanding journey, and it is easy to lose sight of your own needs along the way. Drawing from her personal experience as a caregiver to her parents, child, and husband, Pascale Brady offers practical strategies for making caregiving more sustainable. Participants will learn ways to manage overwhelm, regain clarity, ask for help, share responsibility, and set boundaries without guilt. The session also explores realistic approaches to self-care that can fit into everyday life, helping caregivers move from simply coping to creating a more sustainable caregiving experience.
ABOUT PASCALE
Pascale Brady is a Life and Business Coach and the founder of The Challenge Coach. Having personally cared for her parents, one of her children, and her husband, she brings lived experience and a deep understanding of the challenges caregivers face. Pascale supports clients through difficult life and personal challenges, helping them develop courage and resilience, resolve internal and relationship conflicts, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and meaningful action. Her approach is relationship-based, encouragement-focused, practical, experiential, and research-informed.

Dr. Christopher Willard, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist, author, consultant, and father based in Massachusetts. He teaches at Harvard Medical School and has spoken in 42 countries, including presenting at two TEDx events. He is the author of 21 books, including Growing Up Mindful, Alphabreaths, and How We Grow Through What We Go Through. His work focuses on mindfulness, mental health, compassion, and practical approaches to building well-being and stronger human connections.

Kinga Sanocka is a Positive Discipline Certified Educator in the classroom and for parents, as well as a licensed trainer for education. From Poland, she brings personal experience and professional expertise to her work supporting parents, educators, and caregivers. Kinga helps people recognize their strengths, create safer and more connected relationships with children, and develop practical tools for navigating difficult moments. Her approach is relationship-based, encouraging, practical, and experiential.

ABOUT THE SESSION
Why do children sometimes seem not to listen? This interactive session explores what may be behind “not listening” and how everyday challenges can become opportunities to build connection, mutual respect, and valuable life skills. Using Positive Discipline principles, participants will experience practical activities that demonstrate the difference between telling and asking, as well as “Do” versus “Don’t.” They will learn communication strategies that encourage children to think, participate, and develop confidence rather than simply follow directions.

Natasha Nelson is a CPDE, disability advocate, and parent who focuses on helping adults build respectful and empowering relationships with children and youth. Through her work, she shares practical Positive Discipline tools that help parents move away from power struggles and toward cooperation, connection, and problem-solving. Her approach emphasizes seeing children as capable individuals and using everyday challenges as opportunities for learning and growth.

Supporting an anxious child can leave parents and caregivers wondering how to protect them while also helping them build confidence and resilience. This interactive session explores how encouragement, connection, and mutual respect can help adults respond to anxiety without unintentionally reinforcing it. Participants will learn practical ways to recognize accommodation patterns, respond to anxious moments with dignity and kindness, and help children develop greater courage, belonging, and resilience.
ABOUT JULIANNE
Julianne Reilly is a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker, school counselor, and parent who is passionate about supporting those who care for and work with children. Her personal experience parenting a neurodiverse daughter has deepened her understanding of Positive Discipline principles, including the courage to be imperfect and viewing mistakes as opportunities to learn. Her work combines research-informed approaches with practical tools to help parents, educators, and caregivers support children's emotional well-being while strengthening connection and confidence.
