Susan Belangee, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS, DNASAP, is the founder and owner of Dynamic Growth Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC, and developer of the Leveled Leadership™ model. A recognized authority in Adlerian psychology, she has more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, teams, and organizations to foster meaningful growth, resilience, sustainable wellness, and purpose-driven leadership.
MEET DEEPALI
Deepali Bhandari is a Senior Principal Software Engineer on Enlyte’s Cloud Platform Enablement team. Her career spans more than 25 years across engineering, data, and cloud technology—from early human genome sequencing to building cloud-native SaaS infrastructure and working with machine-learning and generative AI applications.
Her path began with mechanical engineering in India, followed by a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of her work in technology, Deepali writes and performs at open-mic nights. She also credits her son’s work with protein language models as a reminder that the next generation continually gives us new reasons to stay curious.

Most conversations about AI ask how to use it better. This one asks a harder question: When should we use it at all?
With more than 25 years across engineering, data, and cloud—from early human genome sequencing to helping build cloud-native platforms and enterprise generative AI systems—Deepali brings the perspective of someone who has been inside the room where these technologies are built.
That experience changes the conversation. Instead of asking only what AI can do, Deepali invites us to consider what it costs, whom it serves, and what we may quietly give up when we hand our thinking to a machine.
This session offers a practical, thoughtful look at AI—not to frighten us or sell us on technology, but to help us use it deliberately, with our eyes open.
Participants will learn to recognize some of the less-visible costs and design choices behind AI systems, including bias, labor, and environmental considerations.
They will also explore a practical way to decide when AI genuinely helps—and when it may begin replacing thinking, judgment, creativity, or human connection that we never intended to give up.
The goal is not to reject AI, but to develop the habit of asking better questions before reaching for it by default
